As 2011 begins the most consuming emotion that seems to display is, how did 2010 go by so quickly? It's a function of being busy that time passes so much faster. Looking back and trying to remember everything that happened during the year we realise just how much happened.
We have experienced a recovery, double dip and recovery again in the space of the four seasons, (those being hot, wet, hot and wet and even hotter in Singapore). Major events like BP, Euro crisis and QE2 are now almost expected and the markets are beginning to show a little more resilience. Happily clients with properly constructed financial plans have been able to use these events to their advantage and in the main it's been a good year.
At Meyado we have been fortunate enough to welcome some new highly experienced staff to our office who are helping us to grow and solidify our position as the premier financial advisory in Singapore. Our collaboration with various organisations and sponsorship of a series of events throughout the year has been very well received. From social gatherings and business events that covered a diverse range of topics from Black Swan to HR and IT, there was something for everyone through the course of the year. If you have not had the opportunity to attend one of our events, we will be hosting a full series throughout 2011.
Working with our Concierge, Lifestyle managers Cream Counsel this year has been fantastic. We have successfully launched a full client service and care program with concierge services for our Straits Members; a first for any adviser in Singapore. In 2011 we will continue to develop and improve this service to the benefit of all of our member clients. We hosted 4 main events this year with numerous social events on top of that giving our clients the opportunity to meet and network with other like minded people. Enhancing our clients’ lifestyle is very important to us and Cream helps us in that respect.
With further developments to our website and IT systems in 2011 we are confident that our clients will be enjoying a service that is second to none in the Singapore executive marketplace.
